Terms of the signing bonus for quickly starting
If you submit an application for the Junior Software Engineer position, are hired for the Junior Software Engineer position, and commence full-time, in-person work at the Mechanize office in San Francisco, all within a fourteen (14) calendar day period beginning on and including the date of your application submission, then you will receive a signing bonus of $50,000.
The bonus will be paid to you in the first regular payroll cycle that begins after your start date, subject to all applicable tax withholdings and deductions. In the event that you voluntarily resign from your employment or are terminated by Mechanize for “Cause” within twelve (12) months of your start date, you agree to repay the full gross amount of the signing bonus to Mechanize. This repayment must be made within thirty (30) days of your separation date. If your employment is terminated by Mechanize without Cause or due to death or disability, you will not be required to repay the signing bonus.
