Setting up for your interview

For this interview you’ll need both your laptop and your phone.

Laptop

• Have your app running before the call starts, so you can show us a working demo.
• Check that you can share your screen in Google Meet. On some computers this means changing a system setting and restarting Chrome. Sorting this out beforehand saves time during the interview.
• Try your best to have a strong internet connection.

Phone

• Join the same Google Meet link from your phone. You can use the same email and tap “Join here too”, or join with a different email.
• Mute your phone and turn its call volume down to 0. This prevents echo and feedback from your laptop’s audio.
• Place your phone so the interviewer can see all of your screens. Any position that’s comfortable for you is fine. We’ve found the easiest setup is to put it to your side and slightly behind you.
